Hotel room International style – parte 1

L’international style non è una legge di stato (già ne abbiamo troppe da rispettare) ma si tratta di una “regola” e come tale può essere seguita o trasgredita. Possiamo dire più che altro che si tratta di un punto di arrivo al quale aspirare o un punto di partenza o semplicemente di riferimento.

L’international style è un modo di costruire la camera d’hotel con la presunzione di essere la più economica, la più ergonomia, la più funzionale e la più gestibile camera d’albergo possibile. Non tratta assolutamente l’estetica, ogni albergatore può mettere le maniglie d’oro o la testata in pelle di cobra se vuole. Ritratta della costruzione rivolta alla funzionalità strutturale della hotel room in senso tecnico.
Le più grandi catene del mondo hanno capito che la vera comodità sta nel dare la stessa camera da New York a Tokyo a Roma per far sentire a casa il cliente ovunque si trovi.

Partiamo dal fatto che nel mondo industrializzato c’è carenza di spazio e se la camera doppia non deve essere inferiore ai 14 metri quadri meglio risicarli anche per la gestione.
Guardiamo il disegno sottostante:

Se si costruisce senza vincoli le misure descritte sono optimum se si ristruttura o ci sono vincoli questo dovrebbe essere l’indirizzo di riferimento al quale più ci si accosta meglio è. La misura di testata cm.330 può anche essere di cm.410 con il guadagno del terzo posto letto in camera, però tutte le misure intermedie sono svantaggiose perché producono degli spazi inutilizzati nella camera. Qualora strutturalmente capitassero delle misure intermedie (maggiore di 330 ma minore di 410) è consigliato non lasciare quegli spazi inutilizzati nel fianco letto in camera ma meglio spostarli nel bagno spostando il muro e allargando il w.c. fino a raggiungere la misura di testate di 330-340 max poiché come da disegno di seguito una buona doppia non può utilizzare più di 330cm.

Dalla parte opposta al letto abbiamo il gruppo servizi che ha bisogno di una spallina di 60 centimetri a fianco della porta di ingresso altrimenti andremo ad invertire la posizione dell’armadio e a sagomare il posavaligie per creare un invito come di seguito.

Arrivati a questo punto ci scontreremo sicuramente con le esigenze della grandezza dello stabile, con la grandezza del bagno e con la dimensione dell’ultima camera del corridoio.

Expo RivaHotel 2010

Contract Design will exhibit its products at the 34th professional hospitality and catering industry salon in Riva del Garda from 31 January to 3 February.

ExpoRivaHotel 2010, one of the national leading events related to hospitality industry involving the major companies, will present the event Ecohotel that will handle of energy solutions and environmental management in hotels and through the Riva Benessere Hotel event will present a sensory journey, complete with olfactory emotions, relaxing sounds, tastes, plants, water and stones, through which the visitor may enjoy a wellness experience inside of a hotel context.

SIA Guest 2009 – Results

After 6 years of absence, Contract Design is participating once more as a guest of “SIA Guest di Rimini”.
The withdrawal from the event was justified at the time by the lack of buyers and the solid presence of people there out of curiosity.
This year though, the organizers have responded more seriously and the client selection is much more interesting and profitable for the company.
Although the number of visitors was not that high, it was as you say “quality not quantity”. Contract Design presented its “Cantinette” range, which is a new carpentry product, yet at the same time It publicised, as always, its consolidated production of industrial ranges for hotel rooms.
The majority of the replies have been received from foreign clients in particular Croatia, The UAE, Russia, Switzerland and Northern France.

Naming other firms one can note the solid presence of stands of new companies that have never been involved in supplies or fairs for the hotel sector, this underlines an economic recovery post crisis and a desire to invest in “Made in Italy” which has always been appreciated throughout the world. In contrast the big names such as Consonni, Ceccotti, Selva and Marco Piva were not present.

In the target “bedrooms from 1000 to 2000 euro” there were only Contract Design and Pollini, maybe also for this reason the participation result at the “SIA of Rimini” were so positive.
